Our History....
Cobb Sports Complex was founded in 2006 by Marty Henley. Marty saw the need for a baseball and softball training facility to meet the growing needs of players and families in Cobb County.
Over the past four years, Cobb Sports Complex has grown to meet the baseball and softball needs of Cherokee, Paulding, Bartow, Fulton and other counties in metro Atlanta.
Marty and his wife Joy have two boys that are avid baseball players. It does not take much time around Marty and his family to realize their immense passion for the game of baseball.
As successful people often do, Marty has surrounded himself with great people. Cobb Sports Complex has some of the finest baseball instructors in the country. The instructor staff is made up of former professional and collegiate players, current professional and collegiate players, high school, college and professional coaches.
Aside from the great instructors in the facility, Marty has gained a wealth of baseball knowledge through his experiences of coaching youth baseball in Cobb County since 1996.
Cobb Sports Complex is excited about the future for several reasons. Partnering with Brandon Smith Baseball has been a great addition to Cobb Sports Complex.
Brandon brings over 6 years experience as a professional player, 18 years of lessons, camps and clinics along with the expertise of designing and building several baseball training facilities.
The new facility located at 1395 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, GA is a second reason the future looks bright for Cobb Sports Complex. Being able to offer group training, team practices and equipment sales are all very exciting to the growth of Cobb Sports Complex.
